What to do when a close-one in dies?

1. When your loved one dies, you need to call a doctor, who is to declare the person’s death.
2. Only after the declaration of death can the body be transported.
3. Next, you need to call a funeral home to arrange delivery to a cold store.
4. A General Practitioner confirms your loved one’s death, which is necessary for the Registry Office to prepare the death certificate.  As for the documents required there, your ID, the death declaration, the ID and the passport of the deceased are the ones you should take.
5. Finally, you should go to a funeral home where the funeral details are agreed on. The details include:
   • Funeral/cremation date
   • Cemetery space choice
   • Casket/urn selection
   • Type and details of the ceremony.
6. In order to obtain funeral allowance, you need to deliver the funeral home bill and the death  certificate to the insurance company of the deceased.
